Design and usability
Rointe have clearly spent a lot of time in the look and feel of this radiator to ensure that it can fit seamlessly into any environment, be it residential or commercial. Their elegant and slim line design, coupled with a non-fading pure white finish, give this radiator a stylish and minimalistic look allowing it to blend into any environment.
The Rointe KYROS radiators are easily programmable 24 hours, 7 days a week via the Infrared Control Remote, Infrared Basic Control or control mode via the TFT screen. The new control mode available via the access menu has been designed to facilitate the ease of use and programming of the KYROS range. These menus have been designed using identifiable icons for easy recognition, improving accessibility and enabling access to all functions.
All radiators are easy to install with a single room installation needing only a 13-amp socket. The fixtures and fittings are included with every unit along with a fitting template which shows you where holes should be drilled, and screws inserted. For more information on installation, look at our installation tab where you can download a copy of the installation guide and template.
The Rointe Kyros KRI0330RAD3 is ideal for small rooms and can heat an area up to 3m2.
Rointe radiators make use of "Fuzzy Logic Energy Control", a low consumption energy saving technology which allows the optimisation of the radiator’s power consumption. Originally developed by the R&D department of Rointe for the D Series Radiators, the same technology has been applied to the KYROS range, and having been tested by independent laboratories, has proved to save up to 62% in comparison to heating devices with no thermostat.
On top of the low consumption technology, all KYROS radiators feature the new Equilibrium energy saving mode, which forces to the radiator to work at 19ºC in Manual Mode to save energy and improve efficiency.
The new generation of KYROS products includes 4 preset programming options which allow, with just the touch of a button, the quick selection of the program that best fits the particular needs of every user, depending on their lifestyles;
- Common lifestyle - The heating works in Eco Mode in the morning, from the moment you leave home to go to work.
- Split shift - Preset designed for workers who come home at lunch time and return to work in the afternoon.
- Home lifestyle - The heating system keeps a stable temperature throughout the day. Ideal for the elderly and people who spend the majority of their time at home.
- Office - Ideal for businesses and offices where most activities are carried out in the morning.
There is also User Mode, a new function which allows the user to restrict the radiator’s temperature ranges, avoiding incorrect use that would increase consumption and thus increase your bill at the end of the month.

Do Rointe radiators have child locks?
Rointe Kyros, K series and the Delta series electric radiators all have child locks on the settings panel to stop little hands from tinkering with your heating. Alongside manually using the control panel to lock itself, the Rointe AIR control is able to lock the control panel as well as the Rointe Connect App for the Delta series.
Do the Rointe electric radiators need maintenance?
The radiator does not require any type of maintenance. We recommend that all parts of the radiator are kept clean (behind, underneath, upper fins etc.). Do not use any abrasive product on the aluminum. Simply clean it with a damp cloth and a pH neutral soap, and the stencil with a dry cloth.
Do the Rointe Kyros Remotes work with the Rointe Delta Electric Heaters?

When the radiator is locked from the App or the AIR Control remote, the remote keypad lock will appear on the screen. If any button is pressed, a padlock image with 2 small WiFi waves will be displayed. When the keypad has been locked remotely, it can only be unlocked remotely via the App or the AIR Control remote.
How does the Rointe open window function work?
The Rointe open window function is invoked when the room temperature sensor detects a drop of 4ªC from the user-assigned temperature over a 30 minute period. Under these circumstances, the function will apply anti-frost mode (8ºC) for 2 hours, reverting to normal functionality at the end of this period, or when the user intervenes by pressing the ON/OFF button.
How high do the Rointe radiators need to be off the floor, when installed on to a wall?
The Rointe Delta Ultimate and the Rointe Kyros electric radiators work by means of natural air convection. In order to achieve optimal functioning and an even distribution of heat, the lower part of the radiator, once mounted on the wall, must be at least 10 cm from the floor, and 30 cm at the most. As for the sides and above, a minimum distance of between 10-12 cm must be left from any wall or brickwork in order for it to function correctly.
What side is the flex/power lead on for Rointe wall mounted electric radiators?
The flex/power lead is on the right-hand side for the Rointe K Series, Rointe Kyros and the newer Rointe Delta Ultimate (D Series) ranges of electric wall mounted radiators.
Whats the difference between Oil filled radiators, Gel filled radiators, and Dry heaters?
Quite simply - oil filled, gel filled and dry electric radiators are all electrically efficient, but may be more appropriate for your installation depending on your specific requirements and the size of the room that needs heating.
Dry heaters are designed to heat up both quickly and efficiently whilst you are in the room, ensuring that no heat energy is wasted when you do not require it. An Oil or Gel filled heater on the other hand will take longer to heat up and release heat into a room, but will heat your room for longer even after being turned off as that retained heat is dispersed slower.
Oil filled radiators are also deemed to be safer than a dry electric radiator as air flow to dry radiators can be affected by dust - therefore they can overheat and can be hot to the touch for children and pets in comparison to an oil filled radiator. There are specific low surface temperature electric radiators available for dry technology, although these are not widely available – they are a fantastic option for those who prefer the dry technology electric radiator.
Gel filled radiator is very similar to the oil filled radiator, but uses a thermodynamic gel compound as an alternative to oil for heat diffusion around the internals of the radiators metal construction.
Please see our Which Electric Radiator should I choose? Gel filled? Oil filled? or Dry? article for further information.
Where can I download Rointe heater instructions?
Rointe radiators are designed for household or residential use.
We advise to have the radiator installed by an competent person or electrician where necessary making sure the radiator is properly connected and earthed.
Our radiators are filled with the precise amount of special oil that does not need any maintenance. Any repairs requiring the opening of the oil tank must only be done by Rointe. You should notify Rointe immediately if an oil leak is detected. The regulations on discarding oil when the heater is being disposed of must be observed. If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or authorised personnel, in order to avoid any damage.
Why is the Rointe conservatory electric heater the best heater for a conservatory?
The Rointe conservatory electric heater is the best heater for a conservatory as heating a conservatory in the winter can be an issue. Connecting a conservatory radiator to central heating is never a good option as it doesn't meet current Part L building regulations due to the significant heat loss. Rointe conservatory electric radiators are the best option for heating your conservatory as they can be installed easily to low level walls and very low dwarf walls providing the best economical heating.
As with other Rointe radiators, the surface temperature of the Kyros range reaches only 40 degrees centigrade when the room temperature is set to 21 degrees. This ensures safety for both children and the elderly, which makes these units ideal for use in either the home or in a public environment.
With Fuzzy Logic Energy Control technology the Rointe Kyros conservatory electric heater has an incredibly low energy consumption, and the average power used by the Kyros range accounts for only 39 per cent of the nominal power.
Will the Rointe MIC110 work with the Kyros range?
The Rointe MIC110 remote control allows you to send and receive programmes between all of the K and T series heaters. These ranges are gradually being discontinued and replaced by the Kyros range. The new upgraded Rointe Kyros ACMI120 Bi-directional wireless infrared remote is available to buy and will allow you to control all products that make up the Rointe heating systems.
