Rointe Kyros RAD2 Electric Radiators
The oil filled Rointe Kyros Series electric radiator combines maximum heat dissipation with low energy consumption (delivering up to 62% in power savings) via its patented Fuzzy Logic Energy Control technology. The new Fuzzy Logic technology reduces the warm up curve, reducing consumption and therefore saving electricity costs bringing even greater temperature stability after the warm up period.

The thoughtful design, digital technology and component quality of the Kyros radiators promote natural warm air convection as a means of space heating. This provides maximum thermal comfort with optimum relative humidity.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a remote control for the Rointe Kyros?
Purchasing a Rointe Kyros ACMI120 remote control simply makes sense. The Bi-directional wireless connection enables programming, that once sent to the product, can be received and copied into another product throughout the Rointe range.
The Rointe Kyros ACMI120 remote is made of polycarbonate flame retardant of high resistance to impacts, with an elegant design of 21 mm in depth for comfortable operation. The remote comes with a transparent wall bracket - a functional accessory that allows the remote control to always be in the same place and avoiding dropping or losing it.
Do Rointe electric radiators come with a remote?
The Rointe ‘K series’ and ‘Kyros series’ do not come with remotes but they can be purchased alongside the electric radiators from the accessories tab on the left hand bar.
The entire range of Rointe products are programmable through the Rointe remote range, which allow you to send and receive programmes between your installed radiators, towel rails and water boilers.
Designed to allow you to create and configure your programmes within the M series/ Kyros series and Delta.
Do Rointe electric radiators have a 24-hour timer clock?
Yes, our Rointe radiators are fully programmable 7 days a week/ 24 hours from the radiator control panel.
The Rointe Kyros ACMI120 Bi-directional wireless remote can be purchased to control the Kyros range and the Rointe MIC110 remote can be purchased to control both the K and T series.
Do Rointe Electric Radiators include a set of brackets?
All Rointe Electric Radiators include a set of brackets to attach it securely to the wall, so there is no need to purchase this separately.
Do Rointe radiators have child locks?
Rointe Kyros, K series and the Delta series electric radiators all have child locks on the settings panel to stop little hands from tinkering with your heating. Alongside manually using the control panel to lock itself, the Rointe AIR control is able to lock the control panel as well as the Rointe Connect App for the Delta series.
Do the Rointe electric radiators need maintenance?
The radiator does not require any type of maintenance. We recommend that all parts of the radiator are kept clean (behind, underneath, upper fins etc.). Do not use any abrasive product on the aluminum. Simply clean it with a damp cloth and a pH neutral soap, and the stencil with a dry cloth.
How do I unlock my Rointe radiator?
You can lock the control panel from the radiator, the Rointe Connect App or the AIR Control remote (optional). Here we show how to do it from the control panel of the product itself.
By pressing the <- and +> keys at the same time for 3 seconds you can lock the control panel. The locked control panel symbol appears and the keys will not respond. A padlock symbol will appear on the screen if any button is pushed. To unlock, press the and buttons together for 3 seconds.
When the radiator is locked from the App or the AIR Control remote, the remote keypad lock will appear on the screen. If any button is pressed, a padlock image with 2 small WiFi waves will be displayed. When the keypad has been locked remotely, it can only be unlocked remotely via the App or the AIR Control remote.
Whats the difference between Oil filled radiators, Gel filled radiators, and Dry heaters?
Quite simply - oil filled, gel filled and dry electric radiators are all electrically efficient, but may be more appropriate for your installation depending on your specific requirements and the size of the room that needs heating.
Dry heaters are designed to heat up both quickly and efficiently whilst you are in the room, ensuring that no heat energy is wasted when you do not require it. An Oil or Gel filled heater on the other hand will take longer to heat up and release heat into a room, but will heat your room for longer even after being turned off as that retained heat is dispersed slower.
Oil filled radiators are also deemed to be safer than a dry electric radiator as air flow to dry radiators can be affected by dust - therefore they can overheat and can be hot to the touch for children and pets in comparison to an oil filled radiator. There are specific low surface temperature electric radiators available for dry technology, although these are not widely available – they are a fantastic option for those who prefer the dry technology electric radiator.
Gel filled radiator is very similar to the oil filled radiator, but uses a thermodynamic gel compound as an alternative to oil for heat diffusion around the internals of the radiators metal construction.
