Ideal for use in schools, hospitals, care homes and other areas that have a higher safety risk, Low Surface Temperature (LST) panel heaters are safe to touch and will not burn yet are more than capable of heating..

Low Surface Temperature (LST) panel heaters have been designed to ensure they do not exceed a surface heat of 43°C. They are generally in use in places that require an LST for safety reasons. Homes in which young children, elderly people and vulnerable adults reside are ideal installations for these types of heating solutions. They work just like any other electric panel heater except they have been designed and tested to ensure that no part of the heater exceeds that temperature. They are fan-assisted to give maximum output to heat rooms efficiently and effectively.

Heating for Children

If you are worried that the heating in your home gets too hot, LST heaters are the ideal product as they are cool to the touch and have no sharp edges. Safe to touch for toddlers and teenagers alike, they still offer all the comforts that you would expect from a home heating system. They keep a child's room warm and with deifferent heat settings you can control the temperature. Great for small rooms such as a baby's room, they are ideal for keeping a baby warm and at the desired temperature with an adjustable thermostat. With energy saving features such as eco-start and open window technology, you can be content knowing that you won’t be wasting an unnecessary energy.

Heating for Schools

We all know schools are full of children moving from one place to another. Depending on the age of the pupils, size of the school and numbers of pupils, those corridors can get quite full up. The last thing anyone wants is for any children to get burned whilst brushing against any of the electric heaters. Ideal for all education settings including nursery schools and secondary schools, these models are ideal for keeping your pupils warm and at the same tiume knowing that they are risk free when it comes to being too hot to touch.

Heating for Hospitals

Approved by the NHS, LST panel heaters can be found in hospitals and doctors’ surgeries throughout the UK. The smallest model can heat up to 5m² whilst the largest can heat up to 15m². You can use more than one as they work together to heat up larger areas. Being safe to touch means that you have one less thing to worry about when running a hospital or doctors’ surgery. All models comply with NHS estates health guidance notes (1998) surface temperature regulations.

Heating for Dentists

As with other heath industries, a dental practice will have all sorts of people in and out. From the very young to the very old, some who are in for check ups and some who are in to relive pain. The last thing a dentist or their patients need to worry about is the heating. No one wants to worry if someone touches a heater that they’ll burn themselves and turn an already busy practice into a triage unit. That’s where LST panel heaters are great. Providing a warm and comfortable waiting area for patients can help them to relax, especially nervous patients, whilst you can get on with your day without having to worry on safety tips.

Heating for Care Homes

As our friends and families enter their twilight years, they are prone to more accidents and care homes do their best to ensure that living spaces are as free from risk as possible. Whilst it’s not always possible to eliminate all risk, you can remove as many as possible by using products that have been designed for this purpose. The outside of a Low surface temp panel heater will not exceed 43° which means none of your residents are able to burn themselves when touching or leaning against them. This gives you an extra peace of mind, leaving you free to worry about everything else.

Alternatively, if you are looking to cool your home or workplace, look at our air conditioning with remote control for the ultimate in air cooling.
